Aspire in Arb will be a career and employer platform for the UK arboriculture profession. We are building it now, so for the moment this website is a single page telling people what is coming and letting them ask to be told when it opens.
It is run by Aspire to Grow Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales under number 16223102, whose registered office is 1 Kensington Avenue, Ashton-under-Lyne, OL6 8EH.
Aspire to Grow Ltd is the data controller for this website. That means we decide what personal information gets collected here and what happens to it, and we are the people you hold responsible for it.
The only personal information we collect is an email address, and only if you type it into the sign-up form yourself. If you read this page and never sign up, we hold nothing about you.
We do not sell, rent or share your details with anybody who wants to market to you.
The sign-up form asks for your email address. It also asks, if you want to tell us, which of three descriptions fits you best: working in arb or training, an arb business, or something else. That is everything. We do not ask for your name, your phone number or a CV.
We use it to email you when Aspire in Arb opens. If you tell us you run an arb business, we may also contact you about being part of the platform from the start.
Our lawful basis is your consent, because you chose to give us the address. You can withdraw that consent at any time and we will delete it.
Your entry is stored in this website’s own database, hosted for us by Hostinger, and a copy is emailed to us at admin@aspire-to-grow.co.uk.
We keep it until the platform opens and we have told you, or until you ask us to remove it, whichever comes first. If the project does not go ahead, we delete the list.
This site does not run analytics, advertising or tracking cookies. WordPress may set a cookie if somebody logs in to manage the site, which is not something a visitor does.
When the full platform launches, this policy will be replaced with a fuller one covering whatever the finished site actually does.
You can ask us for a copy of what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, or withdraw your consent. Email admin@aspire-to-grow.co.uk and we will sort it out.
If you are not happy with how we have handled it, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
